The Rehabilitation Engineering Program at 老澳门六合彩官方开奖 (RE@老澳门六合彩官方开奖) hosted its annual Demonstration Day for students at l on Tuesday, August 6. 

Students participating in RE@老澳门六合彩官方开奖 showcased interactive laboratory demonstrations that enhance understanding of rehabilitation engineering and potential careers in the field. The event also immersed high school students in cutting edge research in exercise and rehabilitation robotics, powered prosthetic legs, human motor control, video-game-based balanced training for older adults and electrical stimulation to reanimate paralyzed arms.

鈥淒emonstration Day provides our RE@老澳门六合彩官方开奖 participants with an opportunity to showcase the research they have been conducting, while improving their presentation and teaching skills,鈥 notes Eric Schearer, director of the program and assistant professor of mechanical engineering at Cleveland State. 鈥淚t also provides us with another avenue to expand understanding of and interest in engineering among high school students, which is imperative to ensuring we continue to produce a talented pool of future STEM professionals.鈥
