Designed for graduates with an undergraduate degree in music who have successfully passed a highly competitive audition process. Specialization tracks available for string, brass, woodwind, percussion; keyboard; or vocal. The certificate program consists of 16 credit hours.

This program prepares you to sit for the National Music Therapy Board certification exam administered by the Certification Board of Music Therapists.

Customize your learning to align with your goals through a selection of unique elective tracks. Further develop your skills through participation in concerts, recitals, seminars, master classes and workshops.

You will deepen your understanding and appreciation of music through topics such as music theory, musicianship, music history and ethnomusicology. You will also have the opportunity to participate in ensembles or take applied music lessons to further develop your musical skills.
