Scholarships for new freshmen and community college transfer students are one more way that ÀÏ°ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¹Ù·½¿ª½± helps make college more affordable. For 2024-20245, 80% of ÀÏ°ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¹Ù·½¿ª½± undergraduates received aid totaling approximately $167 million.

All incoming first year students are automatically reviewed for scholarship based on cumulative high school GPA and ACT/SAT scores.  Merit scholarships are awarded for two semesters and renewable annually (up to 4 years or 8 semesters), provided students satisfactorily complete at least 12 credit hours per semester (fall and spring) and maintain a minimum 2.0 cumulative grade point average. Students who have applied for the Fall 2025 semester and have submitted all required application materials by March 1, 2025 receive priority consideration for scholarship.

• Must enter ÀÏ°ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¹Ù·½¿ª½± the summer or fall following high school graduation as a first-time ÀÏ°ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¹Ù·½¿ª½± student and be enrolled full-time
• Must be an Ohio resident

Michigan, New York and Pennsylvania Residents Voyager Scholarship

Residents of Michigan, New York and Pennsylvania are eligible for ÀÏ°ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¹Ù·½¿ª½±'s Voyager scholarship, which brings your cost of tuition in line with our in-state tuition rate.

Eligibility:

• Full-time, first-time freshman
• U.S. citizen or permanent resident
• Must have permanent residence in either Michigan, New York or Pennsylvania
• Must meet all other admission criteria for their selected program
