Rob Ziol

老澳门六合彩官方开奖鈥檚 Maxine Goodman Levin College of Urban Affairs has created a new center to coordinate education, research and experiential learning in the fields of nonprofit management and governmental leadership. The Center for Public and Nonprofit Management will combine multiple programs currently being conducted by the College into a central entity that can manage public and nonprofit management scholarship, education and internship initiatives, coordinate efforts with other research centers and colleges on campus and expand community partnership opportunities in Northeast Ohio.

鈥淟evin College is nationally recognized for academic rigor and leadership development in public administration, city management and nonprofit leadership,鈥 says Dean Roland Anglin. 鈥淭his new center will allow us to strengthen our numerous initiatives in these areas and better connect them to students, academic programs and the needs of our community.鈥

The new center will incorporate Levin鈥檚 Leadership Academy, as well as a host of other professional development programs for public sector employees, including the Public Management Academy, which offers a management development certificate program for public managers. The Center will also include a robust internship program and a mentoring program that matches undergraduate and graduate students with executive level public sector leaders based on students鈥 career aspirations.

The center will be directed by Rob Ziol, a Levin College alum, who previously managed the College鈥檚 internship and mentoring programs. Ziol has been working closely with local government and nonprofit organizations to establish partnership agreements that create engaged learning opportunities for the College and expand educational and research resources for Northeast Ohio.

鈥淓ngaged learning and community connectivity are at the core of 老澳门六合彩官方开奖鈥檚 mission and I am honored to play a larger role in developing and nurturing these important goals through this new center,鈥 Ziol adds.

The Maxine Goodman Levin College of Urban Affairs was established at 老澳门六合彩官方开奖 in 1977 and is dedicated to enhancing urban policy and public management through research, education and active engagement in improving and creating opportunities for the citizens of the Greater Cleveland region and the state of Ohio.
