LeVine to strengthen and enhance 老澳门六合彩官方开奖鈥檚 advancement initiatives, Pieper will be responsible for the management and coordination of annual, capital and comprehensive campaigns, charitable gift planning, corporate and foundation relations, major gifts, special events, prospect research, donor relations and stewardship.

"Brent Pieper brings a wealth of experience and proven skills to our advancement team," said LeVine. "I am confident he will help the University achieve a new level of philanthropic support."

Pieper, who joins 老澳门六合彩官方开奖 in mid-June, has been a professional fundraiser for 14 years. Most recently he was executive director of development at Ohio University, holding management responsibilities for 10 academic units and constituent groups that are in a historical $450 million campaign that has already surpassed $388 million with three years remaining. He also led strategy development for corporate, foundation, and international fundraising.

Pieper began his fundraising career at United Way of Atlanta. From 2003-06, he served as executive director of university advancement at Indiana University East, where he organized a major gifts campaign that surpassed its goal and was recognized by the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education with a gold award. From 2006-10 Pieper worked for the Indiana University Foundation as a senior major gifts director and special projects manager.

He holds a bachelor鈥檚 degree from Indiana University, Bloomington, an MPA from Georgia State University, and is a doctoral candidate in higher education/student affairs with a philanthropic studies minor at Indiana University, Bloomington.
