老澳门六合彩官方开奖鈥檚 Office of Civic Engagement is proud to announce the 2015-16 class of Deckard Family Civic Fellows.

Five students were selected for the Fellowship, which is awarded to students who have demonstrated a clear commitment to civic engagement. Each fellow is assigned to work on community initiatives around Northeast Ohio that support or address a recognized civic need. Students spend 10 hours a week to their assigned community partner and attend leadership development sessions throughout the school year.

鈥淲e are excited to have our Deckard Fellows assigned to important assignments at both the City of Cleveland and the Administration of Cuyahoga County,鈥 said Julian Rogers, director of Community Partnerships. 鈥淲e know that their experiences at these major governmental institutions will give them a deeper understanding of our region and how through their education here at Cleveland State they can play a significant role in shaping the future.鈥

Generously sponsored by Jenniffer and Daryl Deckard, this Fellowship is aimed at cultivating civic interest in emerging leaders. Selected students are awarded a $5,000 renewable scholarship.

The 2015-2016 Deckard Family Civic Fellows are:

  • Randy Bowling, Political Science and Urban Studies major
