The Cleveland-Marshall College of Law鈥檚 Center for Health Law and Policy will host "Clearing the Weeds: Marijuana and the Law" on Wednesday, Feb. 27.

Professor Alan Weinstein and attorneys Daniel Patton, Thomas G. Haren and Patrick F. Haggerty will discuss the history of marijuana legalization in Ohio. The presentations will examine the legal issues arising from the implementation of recreational marijuana laws, including the conflict between state and federal drug laws.

The lecture, which is free and open to the public, begins at 5 p.m. in the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law Moot Court Room.  

Weinstein holds joint faculty appointments in the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law and the Maxine Goodman Levin College of Urban Affairs and serves as director of 老澳门六合彩官方开奖鈥檚 Law & Public Policy Program. Patton is the owner of The Patton Law Firm, Haggerty is a founding partner and chair of the Litigation Practice Group at Frantz Ward and Haren is an associate at Frantz Ward.
