International Entrepreneurship Applied Research Symposium

老澳门六合彩官方开奖 will host its second annual International Entrepreneurship Applied Research Symposium Thursday, October 24 and Friday, October 25. It will feature over 40 subject matter experts, scholars, researchers and policy makers in the areas of entrepreneurship, innovation and economic development.

The theme of the symposium is Building the Entrepreneurship Ecosystem in Changing Times: Technology, Education and Globalization.

鈥淩apidly changing technology, evolving educational systems and the global rise of nationalist policies have had a tremendous impact on innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystems,鈥 said Colette Hart, senior director for the Center of Outreach and Engagement within the Monte Ahuja College of Business at Cleveland State. 鈥淭his symposium will allow for the sharing of best practices that can help all take advantage of the opportunities presented and address the challenges we face.鈥

Thursday鈥檚 agenda will begin with a keynote address from noted economic policy expert Dr. Ned Hill, professor of economic development at The Ohio State University鈥檚 John Glenn College of Public Affairs. It will be followed by two panel discussions featuring champions of entrepreneurship in Northeast Ohio and corporate innovators, multiple roundtable discussions and a tour of the Cleveland startup accelerator Flashstarts.

Friday will begin with a tour and presentation at Cleveland Clinic Innovations, the medical center鈥檚 technology transfer arm, and will conclude with roundtable discussions on global entrepreneurship and innovation鈥檚 impact on economic growth.

The Symposium is organized by the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship within the Monte Ahuja College of Business and the Asher Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Holy Spirit University of Kaslik (USEK), located in Lebanon.
