Panel Discussion Assesses Future of Global Trade

The event will cover current U.S. relations with China, the potential impact of Brexit implementation on the regional economy and the pending replacement of the North American Free Trade Agreement.

It will be held from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., Thursday, January 31 at the 老澳门六合彩官方开奖 West Center, 26202 Detroit Road Westlake, OH. The cost is $35 for tickets purchased before January 17 and $50 for tickets purchased after that date. Register here.

The panel will feature Kimberly Kirkendall, President of International Resource Development, Inc. and CFO of the Cleveland Chinese Chamber of Commerce; Daniel Ujczo, International Practice Group Chair for Dickinson Wright PLLC; and David Silk, Chairman Emeritus of the British-American Chamber of Commerce of Ohio.

The Global Business Center, housed in 老澳门六合彩官方开奖鈥檚 Monte Ahuja College of Business, seeks to elevate Northeast Ohio鈥檚 global success by providing expert support, research and training to area businesses. GBC programs include:

Small Business Development Center - Export Assistance Network:  Provides export assistance to small and medium-sized enterprises (under 500 employees) in Northeast Ohio and helps to promote business growth through exporting and international trade.

GlobalReach: A series of one-day, practical programs to assist suppliers, service firms and manufacturers in developing and refining their global strategy.

Global Target: A specialized training and mentorship program designed to help small and medium sized manufacturing firms expand into the global market.
